How to fix System32 errors

System32 often takes the blame for a variety of computer problems. But really, it’s not System32’s fault!

The Windows System32 directory is an essential part of your operating system. Many of its files are needed for your PC to run properly. The System32 directory is usually found in C:\Windows\System32 or in C:\Winnt\system32. It is common for error messages to include the System32 directory as many of the system files that Windows uses are kept there. For the vast majority of error messages referencing System32, System32 is not the cause.

3. Use compatibility mode if a certain application seems to cause the error message. Sometimes older versions of certain software can cause errors. You can access compatibility mode by going to “Start,” “All Programs,” “Accessories” and “Program Compatibility Wizard.”
4. Manually edit the System32 directory. While this is a possible solution, it is NOT recommended. The System32 directory includes files that are vital to the operation of your PC. A mistake could cripple your PC. It is better to use a trusted registry cleaner that includes backups and restore points.

System32 errors can be frustrating, particularly since they are so mysterious.
